Somehow in college, when one person gets sick, everyone else on the floor seems to get sick as well. It seems to me that the germs just multiple faster in college. Maybe it's the close living quarters or the fact that I am around the same people almost twenty-four/seven but whenever I get sick, I discover, to my dismay, that a friend of mine had the same symptoms a week earlier, and another friend had the same symptoms I had the day before. It a good thing and a bad thing because I can just ask the person who was previously sick what to expect, but yet I still know it's coming and there is practically no way to avoid it. No matter what I do whether it is medications, tea, a good night's rest or just staying away from the person who is sick, I will end up sick. And I will get someone else sick, who will get someone else sick, etc. until the illness has taken over the entire floor. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but simply put: when one person on my floor gets sick, we all eventually get sick. I can only hope that the vicious sickness cycle will not occur sophomore year. Maybe I should start stocking up on the airbourne now.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteGood one on Sickness in College.I recently found out 1 million children are accidentally poisoned in their homes each year. And also I did find the toxins we use in our home here www.debtfreeliving.healthyhometour.com.I think it's time we all know about the toxins we use.
Thanks,
